Weekly veg are boxes available from June 2018.
We grow and harvest all the produce ourselves on a 2.5 acre market garden. We harvest and deliver on the same day within a 15 mile radius of the farm - guaranteeing our vegebtables are as fresh and nutritious as possible.
WHAT WE OFFER
We offer weekly veg boxes containing an exciting range of fresh, organic, locally produced vegetables. All our produce is grown by our own hands from seed to harvest on our farm in Nevern in North Pembrokeshire, Wales.
Every week, a box contains an array of veg including

A balance of staples (including onions, potatoes, carrots).

Mixed salads (we grow over 75 varieties throughout the season).

Fresh greens (including kale, chards, broccolis, cabbages and japanese greens, peas and beans).

Seasonally available produce (herbs, tomatoes, aubergines, chillies, cucumbers, peppers, sweetcorn etc).

how much does it cost?
A Small Box
Small boxes contain around 6 different varieties of veg each week.
There are three different options to pay for your box

A one off payment for the whole season. *

Two instalments - the first instalment to be paid by 1st May and the second to be paid by the 1st of September. *

A monthly direct debit to be paid on the 1st of every month.
A medium Box
In a medium box you will receive the full range of produce we grow. The box contains around 10 different varitites of veg each week.
There are three different options to pay for your box

Two instalments - the first instalment to be paid by 1st May and the second to be paid by the 1st of September. *

A monthly direct debit to be paid on the 1st of every month.
* A one off payment or two instalments make the financial year a lot easier for us, as the majority of our costs and financial investment into the business is at the start of the growing season and in the autumn.

WHEN IS IT
AVAILABLE?
As a member of Southern Roots Growers CSA you will get a weekly veg box all year round.
Essentially you are receiving a share of the harvest of our field every week throughout the years growing season.
In future growing seasons we plan to extend this into the early spring.
WHere do we deliver?
Watch this space! Once we are up and running again in 2022 we are planning to deliver to pick up points in the local area to our farm including Cardigan, Newport, Haverfordwest, Fishguard and St Davids.
How to join
We sell our veg boxes through a Community Supported Agriculture (CSA) Model. To receive a weekly veg box simply sign up and become a customer of our Southern Roots Organics Community Supported Agriculture Scheme (CSA).
